Who Manuel Azaña was
A writer and translator before a politician — he translated Borrow and won the National Prize for Literature — he was the most feared orator of the republican Cortes.
He was prime minister and later president of the Republic during the civil war. He crossed the border in 1939 and died in exile in Montauban a year and a half later. His diaries are among the best written chronicles of the period.
No documented birth time exists for this person. Without a time there are no houses, no Ascendant, no Midheaven, and the wheel is not oriented: what you see are the positions by sign, which are correct, and nothing else. An incomplete chart beats an invented Ascendant.
