Privacy policy

This text is a working draft written from how the application actually behaves. Before publishing it, someone with legal judgement should review it and fill in the data controller details.
What data we process
- Account: email address and name, received from Kinde, the identity provider you sign in with. We never store your password.
- Content you create: identities (name, birth date, time and place and, if you record them, the death ones), notes, núcleos, events, links, studies, synastries and family relations.
- Images uploaded to notes and resources, stored on our own object store, on the same server as the application.
We use no analytics or tracking tool, and no third-party cookies. The only cookies are the session one and the one holding the language you pick.
On your own device
Your browser stores your theme preference and the offline-mode one. If you turn offline mode on in your account — it is off by default, and per device — the browser also keeps a copy of the identities, notes, núcleos and studies you had already loaded, so they stay readable without a network. That copy lives on that device only, is deleted when you sign out and when you turn the mode off, and is never sent to any third party.
An identity's birth data may refer to other people. You decide to enter it, and you are responsible for having grounds to do so.
What we use it for
Only to provide the service: calculating charts, storing your notes and sharing studies with whoever you choose. We do not sell data or pass it on for advertising.
Who can see it
- You.
- People you share a study with, who see that study's identities and the notes and núcleos you wrote about them.
- Any signed-in user, for identities you mark as public: only the chart and birth data, never your notes.
Processors
- Kinde — authentication.
- OVHcloud — hosting of the server the application runs on, which also holds its database and image storage, within the European Union.
How long
For as long as your account is open. Deleting it cascades to all your content: identities, notes, núcleos, events, studies and images.
Your rights
You may access, rectify, erase, port and object to the processing of your data. The PDF reports for each identity, study and synastry act as an export. For anything else, write to the contact address.
