Who Alfonso X el Sabio was
He gathered Jewish, Muslim and Christian translators in Toledo and had them render Arabic astronomy and astrology into Castilian — not Latin. It was the decision that made Castilian a language of science.
The "Alfonsine Tables" were used across Europe for three centuries to calculate planetary positions: Copernicus owned a copy. The "Libro de las cruzes" and the "Lapidario" are treatises of pure astrology. His birth date is recorded in the chronicles of his reign.
No documented birth time exists for this person. Without a time there are no houses, no Ascendant, no Midheaven, and the wheel is not oriented: what you see are the positions by sign, which are correct, and nothing else. An incomplete chart beats an invented Ascendant.
