Who Nicolás Copérnico was
He was a canon of Frombork cathedral and also practised as physician, jurist and administrator; astronomy he did in the spare hours of forty years.
"On the Revolutions of the Heavenly Spheres" was published the year he died and put the Sun at the centre. Legend has it that he received the first printed copy on the day of his death.
