Who Santiago Ramón y Cajal was
As a boy he was apprenticed to a barber and a cobbler for indiscipline. He wanted to be a painter, and that hand proved decisive: his drawings of neurons are still used in teaching.
He showed that the nervous system is made of individual cells rather than a continuous network — the neuron doctrine — which won him the Nobel in 1906. It is the foundation of all subsequent neuroscience.
No documented birth time exists for this person. Without a time there are no houses, no Ascendant, no Midheaven, and the wheel is not oriented: what you see are the positions by sign, which are correct, and nothing else. An incomplete chart beats an invented Ascendant.
