Who Teresa de Ávila was
The granddaughter of a Jewish convert, she entered the Carmelite order at twenty and spent two decades ill and without notable experiences before her inner conversion at thirty-nine.
She founded seventeen convents travelling Castile by cart, fighting the Inquisition and her own order. "The Interior Castle" and "The Book of Her Life" are among the major works of mysticism in Spanish. She was the first woman named a Doctor of the Church, in 1970.
No documented birth time exists for this person. Without a time there are no houses, no Ascendant, no Midheaven, and the wheel is not oriented: what you see are the positions by sign, which are correct, and nothing else. An incomplete chart beats an invented Ascendant.
