Who Carl Gustav Jung was
He was Freud's favoured disciple until the break of 1913, which cost him six years of crisis and produced the "Red Book".
He coined the archetypes, the collective unconscious, introversion and extraversion, and synchronicity. He studied astrology seriously — his statistical experiment on the synastries of married couples is famous — and used it in clinical practice, which makes him one of the least surprising entries in this catalogue.
