Who Miles Davis was
The son of a well-off dentist, he left Juilliard to play with Charlie Parker. He reinvented jazz five times: bebop, cool, modal, the sixties quintet and electric fusion.
"Kind of Blue" (1959) is the best-selling jazz record ever made and was cut almost without rehearsal, from sketches written that morning. "Bitches Brew" cost him half his audience and won him another.
No documented birth time exists for this person. Without a time there are no houses, no Ascendant, no Midheaven, and the wheel is not oriented: what you see are the positions by sign, which are correct, and nothing else. An incomplete chart beats an invented Ascendant.
